Dr V J Grant

Valerie Grant is a trained psychologist with a PhD in psychology from the University of Auckland.

She has taught at the Auckland School of Medicine for 25 years.

She started her work on the sex ratio in 1966 when she first noticed a difference between mothers of baby boys and mothers of baby girls. She has written scientific papers on her theory and has had them published in peer-reviewed, internationally respected scientific journals (see below).

She is married with 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
